With Baez and Jordan both, if they won’t take a walk, they won’t ever see anything to hit. It was good to see Baez take one.

And the Reds push across another run with the aid of an error.

    This one is history.

I can’t recall an inning with so many daisy and butterfly patterned oven mitts. The WP was reminiscient of poor Ankiel, then the airmailed E-5 followed by the pitcher taking a nap and failing to cover 1B.

It wasn’t over after all but we came up short.

It’s disappointing because we could’ve had this series wrapped up. Oh well. Let’s see if they can keep the series streak going tomorrow.

On a bright note, Gassy was once again flawless. Now that he’s settled in, he’s mowing down batters with the greatest of ease. Glad he’s on our side!

Gastelum has done very well lately. The Cards really need controllable guys like him to develop into bullpen pieces rather than having to spend money on the pen. I’m getting to where I would like to see Winquest or Rincon get a chance as well.
