Our mistake as fans was believing those first three games were the real Cardinals. Now we know.

I didn’t make that mistake CIF. I said they played well for three games but I was skeptical it would continue. It took six games to show their true colors. I really want to be positive again. It sucks knowing how bad they are right now. The schedule the rest of April doesn’t get any easier. So it could be and likely will be ugly before the warm days of May arrive.

After the Helsley meltdown you could see this one coming a mile away. Boston is built to win. We are not.

The manner in which his gearbox scattered with the 4 BB’s was particularly disheartening. Helsley was supposed to possibly be a rare component of this team that was deemed reasonably reliable. Meanwhile, Chappy at 37 years of age, is compiling some impressive numbers. Then, like you mentioned, they walk onto the fiekd at Fenway for game 2 and are promptly butchered. To sum it up, yesterday they looked like a team that would qualify for 100 L’s.

I think most knew what they had in January
