I think Rats is onto something! Yes some nights we do alright but when we are bad we are just awful! We have to lead mlb in being shut out since June 1! Over and over we can produce nothing! Getting swept by the Pirates would be terrible but not scoring against them would be worse! Tbis is pitiful!

Yeah, it’s no disgrace getting blanked by Skenes, but that lefty who shut down the Cardinals bats had allowed 14 ER’s in 8 IP’ed in his two previous turns prior to Monday’s game.

Since June 1 we have scored two runs are less 10 times and are 1-9 in those games! Over a third of the time we play we score 2 runs or less! That won’t cut it, period!

Well, we went into this season with low expectations. We had a late spring spurt. And it looks like reality may be beginning to set in. However I don’t want a bad blip to ruin our joy.
