    Paid - Annual

Well that one went about as I expected, although I thought it would end up more like 7-1 Redlegs.

On the beer consumption, it’s not the weather so much that affects it for me. In fact hot weather is my ideal beer time. Cold weather I hardly ever have it. But in my older years now, I also never have beer by itself. I always have a lot of water as well, almost to the point of for every beer I have a glass of water along side it.

On a good note……the Mariners did indeed win over the Cubs. 14-6 Seattle your happy final at Wrigley Field today.

A gentleman’s bet with Booyah…..I’m taking the over on 34K attendance for tomorrow night’s game. I’m predicting 35,813.

You could be right but that 35,813 would me modest for a summer weekday contest between the two rivals regardless as capacity is 44,494. That’s a little south of 10K no shows for a game that would usually draw 40K during the week.

For an example, the Sunday July 14th 1:15 game last season drew 39,314. I think that is generously going to be the ceiling this week for the 4 game set. My predictions are more the floor and Thursday might be worse with a 1:15 start. Cracking 40K would be impressive for a travelling fan base that has found reasons to no show this year no matter what the conditions.

The next time we face lefties will be too soon.
