I thought the HPU was going to ring up the Nootz on the 2-2 pitch. Turns out he cashed him out after the count ran full. That’s now 3 K’s tagged on to the Nootz tonight.
If you’d have told me that Matz was going to be this consistently effective, I wouldn’t have believed you. He’s also now received more work than any other member of the BP.

Well, at least they didn’t go quietly, but that’s now 6 consecutive losses. The Nootz gets fitted for the Golden Sombrero. He has 1 hit during the 6 game slide.
I agree, KCB. He’s 1 for 27 with a solitary BB during this 6 game losing streak. Can’t go with that sort of performance at lead-off much longer.
