Good call, Albert. Enter Steven Jakob Matz.
June 3, 2025 at 8:23 pm #283946Those on the member forum know I have not been high on Pallante even when performing well and I think he is a #5. I have to ask, do we think the team would win more games with Michael McGreevy in the #5 spot instead of Pallante?
June 3, 2025 at 8:24 pm #283947I think we definitely win more with McGreevy, Albert. And I like Pallante as well.
June 3, 2025 at 8:25 pm #283948Tie ballgame
June 3, 2025 at 8:26 pm #283949Well tie game now. The offense does a great job and then the team squanders that huge lead.
June 3, 2025 at 8:27 pm #283950Boy oh boy…Obviously no lead is ever safe until it’s placed into the books.
June 3, 2025 at 8:30 pm #283951Middle of the 5th and 15 runs have crossed the plate. I strongly suspect the scoring’s not done yet.
June 3, 2025 at 8:32 pm #283952I’m sure it’s happened, but I don’t think I’ve ever scene Nado attack a first pitch and be successful.
June 3, 2025 at 8:32 pm #283953Quarter pounders are $7 now? Wow I don’t know why anyone would pay that for such a low quality burger
June 3, 2025 at 8:33 pm #283954
jj-cf-stlParticipantPallante STILL needs an offspeed pitch to disrupt timing. The sinker/slider mph range is a happy zone if that’s all you have to look for. Many balls in play do get beat in the ground, and many leave the park. Same problem Gant had.
June 3, 2025 at 8:33 pm #283955The whopper is my favorite. Speaking of McDonald’s, I recently saw the movie “The Founder” with Michael Keeton for the first time. I thought it was fantastic.
June 3, 2025 at 8:46 pm #283956Bases juiced with Royals here in the 6th…..we CANNOT surrender a single run here.
June 3, 2025 at 8:46 pm #283957Well there goes 2 more runs
June 3, 2025 at 8:47 pm #283958Ouch! 10-7 KC on an India single. I do not believe we coughed up that 7-2 lead at the drop of a hat. To begin with, Pallante should never have faced Witt again in their big inning.
June 3, 2025 at 8:48 pm #283959This is becoming embarrassing
June 3, 2025 at 8:51 pm #283960In other news, Bernal hit his 9th homer tonight and now has an OPS over .900 as a young catcher at AA. Rajcic threw 5 2/3 and allowed just one hit.
And Raniel Rodriguez hit a homer on his first day for his first at bat in Low A.

jj-cf-stlParticipant6Th inning
June 3, 2025 at 8:53 pm #283962I hope I didn’t jinx McGreevy as he exited after 4.1 innings even though he was pitching well. He was at 75 pitches. Fingers crossed they pulled him to avoid extra pitches on his arm to call him up instead of an injury.
June 3, 2025 at 8:53 pm #283963Bobby Jr’s no joke. He can do it all.
June 3, 2025 at 8:55 pm #283964
jj-cf-stlParticipantIt’s set up right for a CROOKED NUMBER!
June 3, 2025 at 8:55 pm #283965It worked out, but that was risky move from the Nootz.
June 3, 2025 at 8:56 pm #283966
jj-cf-stlParticipantWorst place to hit it Donny.
June 3, 2025 at 8:57 pm #283967I went and watched the Memphis game. They had a guy warming up already. Even the announcer for the game said that may be a queue for things to come this weekend. So lets expect to see McGreevy get a start against the Dodgers.
June 3, 2025 at 8:59 pm #283968Right at the CF unfortunately so runners stranded on 2nd and 3rd
June 3, 2025 at 9:00 pm #283969Thanks for the Kiddie Cards updates, Jnevel & Albert.
