Now they go on the road.

And the Dodgers trailed the Braves 5-0 last night. Muncy a two out two run double in the 8th tied it. Then Ohtani homers in the bottom of the 9th to win it 6-5.

    Dodgers are 8-0.
    Padres are 7-0.

Funny, if the Dodgers would have lost they would have been in 2nd place. Now they too go on the road.

    Braves are 0-7.

Yeah, the Dodgers at 8-0 look like they may run the table with all those taters from Ohtani and Edman…Little Eddie actually leads the Dodgers with 4 HR’s this season…Haha!

While I’m reasonably certain they may lose a game or two this season, I’d have to say that the Dodgers have a decent chance to become the first team to repeat as WS champions since the 2000 Yankees. That team’s loaded with firepower up and down the lineup with the likes of Ohtani, Betts, Freeman, and of course, Little Eddie, who may be the primary component that spins the crank of the The Big Blue Machine…Haha! Obviously, the Dodgers wouldn’t have won anything in ’24 if not for the well timed and fortunate aquisition of Little Eddie!

They both hit right-handed pitching better than left-handed. Herrera hits better than Burleson against both right-handers and left-handers. Burleson is unplayable against left-handers.

This is true. Herrera had better splits last year against rp. .800 ops. He looked pretty good against lefty yesterday. Good point about still being able to backup catcher.

That was a very enjoyable win/broadcast.

I like Oli’s usage of the position players so far, and our depth looks good currently, when injuries kick in. I’d vote against a full time DH, preferring the flexibility Oli has in place.

Gorman is also pushing for more PA’s, possibly at Burlys expense, but that doesn’t wash away the weeks Alec carried our lineup last season.

    Congrats Ivan.

Bad weather in the Northeast for this weekend’s series in Boston. Saturday’s game is especially in jeopardy. Maybe a twin bill on Sunday?

My thought on this series with the Angels…don’t walk the lead off man in extra innings.
