Eck needs to go ahead and cut that tuft of hair off the top of his head. It looks lonely.
April 25, 2025 at 8:38 pm #280428Kind of surprised they sent Contreras as that ball was not real deep.
April 25, 2025 at 8:41 pm #280429I can’t think of many SS’s who could overcome that initial little juggle and still recover to get the out. Dunston, maybe.
April 25, 2025 at 8:41 pm #280430
jj-cf-stlParticipantThat was about a dozen outs in a row for Libby before the double.
April 25, 2025 at 8:47 pm #280431
jj-cf-stlParticipantThird time thru they nick Libby for a run. At 85 pitches, we don’t have a better reliever than Libby for the 7th, but that’s Oli’s call.

April 25, 2025 at 8:48 pm #280433Gosh, just checked back in the thread. That’s really something else altogether, Bikemike. A genuine miracle, really. Thanks for sharing that reminder of the things in life that are truly important!
April 25, 2025 at 9:01 pm #280434
jj-cf-stlParticipantError by Nado standing on 2B.
Libby pulled w/Hoskins due up. Leahy in.April 25, 2025 at 9:02 pm #280435That’s what’s always bothered me a little about Arenado. He’s headed to the HOF largely on the merit of his outstanding mitt at 3B, but every now and again he’ll nonchalant an easy routine play for the Das Boot. I can’t ever recall Rolen having those types of lapses of concentration or intensity.

BB
Sacks full.April 25, 2025 at 9:06 pm #280437Leahy mired in a world of it.
April 25, 2025 at 9:10 pm #280438Real nice job to escape with a lead.
April 25, 2025 at 9:11 pm #280439
jj-cf-stlParticipantError scores and Leahy gets 3 outs.
3-2 stlApril 25, 2025 at 9:12 pm #280440That camera angle gave me a good idea of tonight’s gate. I count about 2500…
April 25, 2025 at 9:16 pm #280441Great start by Liberatore. Team needs to score some more runs though to make me feel confident in a W.
April 25, 2025 at 9:16 pm #280442
jj-cf-stlParticipant7 changeups in a row to Noot.
April 25, 2025 at 9:19 pm #280443
jj-cf-stlParticipantI trust our pen so much im considering two innings from Helsley
April 25, 2025 at 9:47 pm #280445
jj-cf-stlParticipantA scoreless 8th by Maton and 9th by Helsley. Final 3-2 StL
April 25, 2025 at 10:00 pm #280447Well, one good thing about this team is that they seem to always win the close ones…
April 26, 2025 at 12:30 am #280448Yes first one run win. They won’t go winless in 1 tun games.
April 26, 2025 at 12:34 am #280449Was that the series before the Rangers?
No that was 2012. That was the year they pulled Strasburg from the postseason. Also the year we blew a 3-1 lead to the Giants in the NLCS.
Milwaukee was before the Rangers. There had been some bad blood with the Brewers and we accused them of sign stealing from another location but the field during the season. It was sweet justice.
April 26, 2025 at 2:24 am #280450Devin Williams ERA over 11….and about to be demoted as he blew another save for the Yankees
Yankees may be in the market for a closer
