jj-cf-stlParticipant3-2 ATL
April 22, 2025 at 7:38 pm #280185Been out in sunny Southern California for a couple of days, but am back. Our club really struggling, and now Pallante getting rocked in the 4th. Grooving pitches.
Like the classic Mets uniforms I love the classic Braves uni’s as well. They are pretty much the same as the Milwaukee years.
Whoa, Pallante really coming unglued here. Big Bear might just launch one in orbit the way he is pitching.
Whew, got him. Only a 3-2 deficit. Will we ever win a one-run game?
April 22, 2025 at 7:39 pm #280186Riley had already overrun the 1B bag when Pallante tossed the baseball into RF.
April 22, 2025 at 7:43 pm #280187This guy looks like he can be a real bummer for lefties to hit against.
April 22, 2025 at 7:58 pm #280189So now we are the guys teams want to play to get well against.

jj-cf-stlParticipantSome very good takes by Victor.
April 22, 2025 at 8:13 pm #280192
jj-cf-stlParticipantWinn gets the inner third pitch he looks for and drives in Burly
4-3 atlApril 22, 2025 at 8:22 pm #280193
jj-cf-stlParticipantWild pitch ties it up.
April 22, 2025 at 8:26 pm #280194
jj-cf-stlParticipantIf it doesn’t bounce, good chance Burly hacks at it.
April 22, 2025 at 8:29 pm #280195
jj-cf-stlParticipantI’ll get the lights.
April 22, 2025 at 8:29 pm #280196We desperately need Shady to come back and start talking up Burly again.
Comparing him to Ted Simmons and even Babe Ruth. It was always interesting trying to follow his logic.
April 22, 2025 at 8:33 pm #280197Riley with 3 hits tonight with 2 of them the IF hit variety.
April 22, 2025 at 8:50 pm #280198Gorman’s ringing bases clearing double makes this a 7-4 St. Louis ballgame
April 22, 2025 at 8:53 pm #280200Wasn’t it me who has been saying Gorman is great.
April 22, 2025 at 8:54 pm #280201I mention Shady and the Cardinals get better. Coincidence?
And yes Bling, that was definitely you.
April 22, 2025 at 8:56 pm #280202No, it was me saying Oli getting tossed last night was sheer genius. He knew it would change their fortunes and they’d start winning these close late inning affairs.
April 22, 2025 at 9:00 pm #280203You know, several of you wanted to axe Leahy this offseason. One of you didn’t understand why the Cardinals would ever keep him on the roster. I’m not sure where this team would be without his and Matz work out of the pen thus far. Leahy looks fantastic every outing.
April 22, 2025 at 9:05 pm #280204Scott looking, acting and most importantly, playing like he belongs. Hope he’s up here for the next 13 or 14 years.
April 22, 2025 at 9:06 pm #280205I wonder if Helsley’s ever gone to work with a 6 run lead?
April 22, 2025 at 9:06 pm #280206Nice to see the hits today but it’s been against some mediocre pitching. Still, we needed this.
Up 10-4 now.
April 22, 2025 at 9:07 pm #28020710-4 Birds and now we can officially call off the dogs…….this one has gleefully turned into a massacre…..and we’re doing the massacring.
April 22, 2025 at 9:08 pm #280208Haha…There’s the answer.
April 22, 2025 at 9:10 pm #28020910-4 Birds and now we can officially call off the dogs…….this one has gleefully turned into a massacre…..and we’re doing the massacring.
Pugs, I’d like to hear from 1td to see if he approves of this, haha.
April 22, 2025 at 9:15 pm #280210Ozuna walks on 2 balls and 4 strikes. Frustrating. Now Helsley starting to get up there in pitches for an inning.
April 22, 2025 at 9:17 pm #280211Indeed Euro……..any “call off the dogs” motion must always be approved by TD first.
