Why complaining about Carp at 2B? The whole point in keeping JMart was for Carp to bounce around the infield.
One mistake pitch ended it.
With Tuesday's walkoff loss in Montreal, #stlcards finish the spring at 17-13-2 (.567). Last spring was 20-8-4 (.714). Obviously, that did not carry over.

With the regular season awaiting and absolutely no desire to go into extra innings, it was nice to let Vlad’s son hit one out in Montreal.
Except for one fat pitch, I thought Flaherty looked great. Most everything had movement. In fact, all 3 of our starters looked great.
What a moment for Montreal fans. The son of one of their all time favorites hitting a walk off homer to win the game.
