If you like top of the rotation pitching matchups, an opening day ticket ought to provide you some enjoyment. I think if I could enter a time warp and travel back to attend any regular season game of long ago lore, it would be Spahn/Marichal on 7/2/1963. Two CG 16 inning performances with pitch counts of 201 for the 42 yr. old Spahn and 227 for the 25 yr. old Marichal before Wille Mays ended it with a game ending tater for a 1-0 final at Candelstick.
