Brian, did you have “insider information” to know to be in Palm Beach or were you already planning to be there?
Jack Flaherty now has a new career-high with 13 punchouts after lasting 6 2/3 innings for Triple-A Memphis today. He allowed two earned runs on a whopping 113 pitches (77 for strikes). #STLCards

We need to somehow, some way get Flaherty in the Cards rotation. How much more can he learn at AAA? And the next question is which of the starting 5 is most vulnerable? Obviously, it would be great if he could make Wainrights next start, but he is out of sync since he pitched today, and also threw lot of pitches. I sure wish they had Gomber or Flaherty available to take Wainos turn. Pretty poor management, if they had kept them in tune with Wainos turn, as I think either would have been a better candidate than Gant. It might have been a good way to break in Gomber.
Also, If Weaver start doing better he may be on the train to Memphis.
