Seijas(A-full) needs a bounce back outing after going just 2.1 innings in his first start. Seijas was once rated higher than his long time teammate Oviedo who is now a step up at A-adv and pitching well again.

I’ve asked this before and I’ll ask it again, why is Williams Perez a starting pitcher for Springfield?

Perez throws 64 pitches and only gets 7 outs (2.1 Innings) while giving up 6 runs (all earned) off 8 hits, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. He couldn’t make it through 5 innings last time out and his ERA has ballooned to 12.86 and opposing hitters have over a .350 BA against him.

Very good outing by Seijas. Makes 14 shutout innings in a row by Peoria starters.

Seijas is so frustrating. He’s so unpredictable. He’ll have one great outing, like today, and then follow it up with dud, like walking 5 in 4 innings and getting wracked for 5+ runs.

Tommy Pham needed to go, but Pham for Carbrea and Noel Ramirez is just another one of the many trades piling up that look really bad.

Also Williams Perez could easily be cut loose with Chris Ellis back in the system. I’d think Ellis would be in AAA pen, but other moves will have to take place too.

Ellis needs to start and he could easily take Perez’s spot in the rotation.

Memphis had the bases loaded in the 9th with zero outs while trailing 4-5. They managed to tie the game with a Tommy Edman sac-fly. Robinson and Munoz failed to drive in the runner from 3rd and then Chris Beck gave up a leadoff double, a five pitch walk, flyout, intentional walk and single to lose in the bottom of the 9th. Memphis falls to 2-5. This team is a long ways off from a 3 Beak.

It appears that the situation is still fluid but I don’t see the fans winning.

Pham needed to go for the same reason Fowler needed to be signed: incompetence.
