Today’s mound foe will be Bryan Rodriguez ERA=4.90 WHIP=1.53 and only 63 Ks in 126 IP. He has been better of late and is 7-1 in his last 10 gms.

Tomorrow in El Paso we’ll be up against Walker Lockett ERA=4.39 WHIP=1.45 33ks in 55 IP. Lockett was on the DL from 6/2 until 9/6. In his only start since coming back he went 3.0 inn. on Friday giving up 4H and 3ER.

The Redbirds will start Herget for the day game today at home, and Helsley tomorrow night in El Paso.

Memphis wins 2-0 on a 11th inning single and two run homer by Adolis Garcia. Herget 15 k’s in 8 shutout innings. Memphis leads best of 5 series 2-0.

Memphis improved to a perfect 13-0 in extra-inning games for 2017, including the postseason.
