Peoria vs. Beloit – Diego CorderoAnyone else using the Milb app? I have 2019 rosters but only showibg 2018 games. I only loaded it the last week of March. Anyone else have this problem?
I had to reload the app from the App Store to get the upgrades. Then the 2019 games appeared.
When I updated opening day the 4th it said the upgrade had been available for 2 or 3 days. So it might not have been ready back in March.
Well I uninstalled and tried to reinstall. Now it says that it is uncompatible with my Samsung android device and wont let me install.
Scott Hurst just looks awful right now for Springfield. I don’t know what happened between ST and the beginning of the season but boy he looks lost. That week off between games did him no favors.
Connor Jones was giving me indigestion in the 7th. Came in with runners on 2B and 3B and 2 outs and proceeded to issue to walks and a 2-rbi single. Springfield’s lead dropped to 5-4. John Fasola in for the save right now.
Junior Fernandez got another 2 inning save today. He’s been lights out so far for Palm Beach. I would imagine he’ll get a promotion soon.
Well Fasola gives up a lead-off double and then serves up batting practice to Kort Peterson for the 2-rum bomb and the loss. Springfield now 0-4. So much for that improved bullpen.
On a positive note, Carlson collected two more doubles today. He is hitting .400 (6-for-15) over his first four games at Double-A and he is also seeing some time in center field.
Watching Peoria on MILBTV. Pacheco looks very good in his second outing so far. 5 outs, 4 by strikeout. Nice fastball/Slider (I think) combo.
Carlson and Gorman have looked good early in their 2019 seasons, which is great to see. Montero hasn’t looked so great, but as a 20 year old he’s allowed to take a couple lumps before getting his footing.
The #stlcards minors went 2-3 on Sunday. Memphis managed a split via Player of Day Adolis Garcia’s three-run home run.
