I consider myself pretty knowledgable on the Cardinal’s system but Luna and Roache are 2 guys I’m not sure I could have identified as Cardinal farm hands before this week. Luna looks really intriguing due to his age.
Looks like Walsh is being stretched out as a starter. He was outstanding last year in relief. Walsh’s pitching coach his last year in college was former Cardinal David Kopp.

I have not heard or seen much on majors or minors pitchers velocities. Is this discouraged during Spring training? I have hear a little about Hicks, Reyes, Mayers, and Mikolas. is there anyone else out there that has had a spike in velocity? Seems like Brebbia gained a few mph last year.

His stock sure would rise. His glove is well regarded. We have acquired and signed so many guys I am curious about at short with Rayner, Arias, Martinez, added to Sosa, Perez, and Robertson making AA down to Peroria really interesting.
