MrperkinsParticipantI saw in roster matrix that Jonatan Machado was released. This is probably covered in premium forum but could anyone give a summary? Attitude, injury, visa? He hit ok his last full year.
July 13, 2021 at 8:13 am #166406The #stlcards minors went 0-2 on Monday. Both the DSL Blue and DSL Red lost their season openers but DH Keshawn Rombley tripled and scored for the Blue in his pro debut. The FSL Cardinals game was canceled, and all four full-season squads were idle. (free) https://t.co/4xbHkTt5Wo pic.twitter.com/HU7nh3eF0J

July 14, 2021 at 9:57 am #166509Perfect offensive efforts by Memphis’ Kramer Robertson and the #stlcards Red’s Romtres Cabrera led their teams to the system’s only wins on Tuesday. Springfield was tagged with a walk-off defeat and Peoria, the FCL and DSL Blue squads fell as well. (free) https://t.co/1FfMAylxSq pic.twitter.com/FItnzLk14U

July 14, 2021 at 10:00 am #166510Wednesday, July 14
Memphis vs. Norfolk, 7:10 p.m., Johan Oviedo
Springfield at Frisco, 7:05 p.m., Domingo Robles
Peoria vs. Wisconsin, 6:35 p.m., Michael YaSenka
Palm Beach vs. St. Lucie (2), 2:00 p.m. ET, Ludwin Jimenez/Nathanael Heredia
FCL vs. Marlins, noon ET
DSL Blue off
DSL Red offJuly 14, 2021 at 3:42 pm #166515Oviedo could spin a 3 hit complete game shutout tonight and it still wouldn’t change my opinion of him not blossoming into a viable ML starter. However, I have not cooled on Michael Steven YaSenka and that is the game that will garner the lion’s share of my attention this evening. Home plate usually sees action aplenty when the Chiefs and Rattlers engage in battle. Maybe Mr. YaSenka can curtail that trend. I’m calling this one 6-3 Chiefs with Whalen going yard with two mates along for the ride.
July 14, 2021 at 5:14 pm #166520Pugs, I think it’s time for Walkers first Peoria home run.
July 14, 2021 at 5:26 pm #166521Sure is time, Cardinals27. Kid is going to be special. Now that you brought this up, I wouldn’t be shocked to see him yank two out of the yard tonight.
July 14, 2021 at 7:50 pm #166534YaShipisSunka won’t be winning any awards this week. 8-0 Rattlers in the 3rd. YaSenka’s effort is finalized for the night and it’s not a pretty one. He’ll get em next time
July 14, 2021 at 7:57 pm #166535At the Peoria game tonight. Walker did not start and is not listed as being available. What did I miss?
July 14, 2021 at 8:02 pm #166536Interesting roster tidbits … Peoria has six free agents and two players acquired by trade. All remaining players are draft picks or International FA.
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Mil) have ten FA’s and one player acquired by trade.
July 14, 2021 at 9:06 pm #166538Peoria trying to make a game of it. Trailing 8-4 after seven. The pen has tossed four scoreless innings. The offense has had opportunities, but have not been able to capitalize.
Still some time left.
July 14, 2021 at 9:35 pm #166539Gorman getting untracked tonight. His first AAA home run, along with 2 singles. Burleson and Plummer have homered again.
July 15, 2021 at 7:23 am #166549The #stlcards system was 2-4 on Wednesday as Palm Beach dropped both ends of a doubleheader. Player of the Day Nolan Gorman was 3-for-4 including a three-run home run and three RBI in Memphis’ win over Norfolk. (free) https://t.co/eUSBGNWaN7 pic.twitter.com/p3r0EDsXms

Memphis vs. Norfolk, 7:10 p.m., Tommy Parsons
Springfield at Frisco, 7:05 p.m., Kevin McGovern
Peoria vs. Wisconsin, 6:35 p.m., Logan Gragg
Palm Beach vs. St. Lucie, 6:30 p.m. ET, TBA
FCL vs. Nats, noon ET
DSL Blue at Angels, 10:30 a.m.
DSL Red vs. Mets2, 10:30 a.m.July 15, 2021 at 6:02 pm #166571K-Mac has his work cut out for him tonight vs that upstart Frisco RoughRiders squad. He best put his A-game on full display, especially with Hans Michael Crouse dealing for Frisco. I love our boys, but this one tonight is going to be one we’ll not want to remember. I’m calling this one 11-3 RoughRiders…..boy it hurts to say that!
July 15, 2021 at 8:34 pm #166573Not to bragg, but Logan Gragg has pitched 6 very efficient innings in Peoria this evening, where the Chiefs find themselves on the funner side of a 4-1 ballgame. Reichenborn, Redmond and Chamberlain have all launched long home runs….we now mozzy along to the top of the 7th at Dozer and the song remains the same…oops, wasn’t there a song with that title? The score remains the same….4-2 Good Guys in total control.
July 15, 2021 at 9:05 pm #166577The “Tide” has certainly turned in beautiful Memphis, as 27 year old( will be 28 two weeks from tomorrow) Clint Caudell has clubbed a homer with a mate onboard to tie things up against the Norfolk Tide, as they are about to commence play in the 5th inning. Gorman is 1-1 with a walk…..his hit a ringing double.
July 15, 2021 at 9:47 pm #166579Correction….Clint Coulter, not Caudell.
Thomas just socked a 6th inning granny into the Memphis night and just like that, Memphis seizes a 4 run lead vs Norfolk.
July 15, 2021 at 10:12 pm #166581There’s been an Alexander the Great sighting tonight at Riders Field, where Frisco presently holds a 9-3 advantage over Springfield, as they move along to the 8th inning of play. FaGalde has pitched a perfect 1/3 innings, getting out of a bases loaded pickle.
July 16, 2021 at 8:11 am #166593Great performances led to a 6-1 Thursday across the #stlcards minor league system. Logan Gragg (p) pitched Peoria to a win and the hitting of Lane Thomas and Todd Lott powered Memphis’ and Palm Beach’s respective victories. (free) https://t.co/tDQuW6Wiyo pic.twitter.com/t4Y5FusNRA
