Three lefties and my personal pick to click prospect this year… hopefully the pitching looks better today. Eventually we have to have a winning system day… right?

Not necessarily until Mo gets a new computer.

We actually had a winning day last Thursday, the 6th. Springfield and Peoria won, Memphis lost, PB rained out.

The way things are going, a rainout is as good as a win… 😉

“Big” Mac Lardner can deal. I’m almost as excited to follow that game as the Liberatore matchup.

Paim Beach is laying it on Jupiter early. 6-0 after 2. Masyn Winn has a triple and two runs scored (along with his 6th swiped base), and LJ Jones IV has a round tripper.

On the pitching side, Ludwin Jimenez has twirled two scoreless frames, walking two and striking out one.

Sure would be nice to be able to see any video from Palm Beach. Way to drop the ball, MiLB.tv or whoever made that decision.

Nice day offensively for Palm Beach. Winn with 4 hits, Romeri and Jones homer, Walker with 3 hits, a triple, and drives home 3. 13-8 winner.

I wish they spread out days off. Having all of the minors off on Monday doesn’t appeal to me. Why not have A, AA, and AAA with different days off? Sunday and Tuesday could be options. And I hope they play

    C27,
As one who does half of the game write ups, I love all Mondays as off/travel days.

UConn, it is much appreciated that you take the time to do the write ups! Although I miss seeing the minor leaguers in action, I’m happy that you get a break!

This Winn kid could be really really special. Looking forward to his rapid ascension.

    Why thank you, C25.

Springfield’s write-up for yesterday’s game took quite awhile. First, I wrote what I was feeling (may have used phrases ‘incompetent boob’ and ‘bloody idiot’). Then I did a write-up that was a tad more professional…

Known you for many years, UCONN. You don’t have an unprofessional bone in your body….except my first year here when you left me off your Christmas cake list.

The woeful pitching has continued tonight. Libby has been rocked for 5 runs in 3 innings. Big Mac got shelled for 7 runs, 6 earned in 3-1/3. Connor Thomas had pleasantly surprised with 3 scoreless and has been backed by a solo blast by Luken Baker.
