Doesn’t surprise me at all, as BicycleMike is as keen as they come. Yeah this is going to be most interesting in how the Cards move him along and how Hicks handles this opportunity. Praying that he stays healthy. Was surprised to see that our ex-horse, Lance Lynn, will be missing significant time due to injury. I can’t recall Lance being sidelined previously.

I don’t know about this I guess it can’t hurt to try. I’ve never thought of hicks as much beyond closer. I don’t really see him as having enough type pitches to be a good starter. I guess we will see.

Keep in mind for April, it is a 28 man roster, so if they are going to give him a shot now is the time. He has as much upside as anyone in the system and the rest of the rotation consists of #3 starters at best so I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do.
