BW If these kids have too much money to spend, they are going to get themselves into trouble. That’s for
sure. Also, the minor league teams need to be financially solvent and able to stand on their own.
Otherwise, they are charity cases. I’m not mean, uncaring, or discompassionate. I don’t necessarily
think its a bad thing if these kids have to tough it out for a few years. Seems like they can get some
worthwhile life lessons out of that.

I “investigated” for three years, thank you. It was some truly brave journalism. And minor leaguers made less then (two decades ago) than they do now.
