Can Sosa play short instead of DeJong? If so that seems like big upgrade.

Wong is a crybaby? I never got that impression….
Did the article say specifically that the Cardinals had Wong do that he quit doing? I am concerned about all of the pitcher injuries and that goes back all the way to Matheny. I am more concerned about the inconsistent offense. I would say change hitting first.
Don’t know who is to blame for the young relievers (Cabrera, Gallegos and Reyes) hitting the wall. I count 7 games lost by relievers since August 1 where we were tied or in the lead going into the late innings.
Rattled relievers and way too many BB’s means these young pitchers don’t have the confidence that they should have. A new pitching coach might be able to help with that.
Seems to me that a future Hall of Fame catcher calling pitches would matter even more than the coach – and that clearly isn’t enough, either. At some point, people have to be responsible for their own actions.
