Another really good start by Roby but only 4 innings again. 55 pitches in 4 innings so he was pitching efficiently.
Mathews with another clunker with 6 walks. Really hoping everything is okay there as he hasn’t seemed like himself to start the year and doesn’t look comfortable from the few innings I have watched this season.

Honeyman with a HR today. I am curious how long Honeyman stays at Palm Beach. I expect them to be aggressive with him if he is healthy so he can start moving up the ladder.
JJ with another HBP. He is one of those guys that has the special ability to wear it and wear it a lot. Through 839 PAs between college and the minors so far, he has been beaned 33 times. That is actually a really good skill to have as it translates up the ladder and helps keep the OBP up. I just hope he doesn’t get hurt with it, although Craig Biggio was able to make a good long career with 285 HBPs
If anyone is wanting something to watch. Marquee Network has the Peoria-South Bend game on. 9-3 in the 7th. Tyler Bradt is having a bad inning. 10 balls to start the inning and 2 walks with the bases loaded.

Full sweep today as St Louis and all 4 minor league teams get the victory. Springfield was wild as they won 17-12. Minor league teams are a combined 4 games over .500 early on with only Peoria in negative territory.

Today was only the second game he has played in all season.
Across three seasons, he has now played in a grand total of 22 games
I know he has hardly played, but Honeyman is a former college player and his injuries don’t change the fact he is R5 eligible after 2026. My goal as the org would be get him 1-2 months of Palm Beach time, then Peoria for him this year. Goals to have him play AA start of 26 and depending on performance maybe AAA at the end to know if he needs to be 40 man rostered.
