Jose Abraham Davila. Every time I see his name, I cannot help but think of a clutch Cardinal from yesteryear……. Victor (Vic) Jose Davalillo ( pronounced “Dav-a-leechio” by Harry ).
Mathews pitched 1 inning in the futures games today and struck out 2 with 1 hit allowed. I always feel the timing of the game is awkward as it is on a normal big league game day. One of the All Star off days seems better suited for it.

MLB shows no walks. I would trust their box score over BA’s. Mathews threw 13 pitches 9 of which were strikes. You can also look at the full summary to see Mathews’s results in the 6th.

I had posted the BA box score because it showed something different and I had thought BA was considered a reliable source.
