Interesting inning Gorman hangs in there for foul ball derby and gets a walk. Bases loaded Cubs change pitchers.
And Goldschmidt strikes out swinging with the bases loaded and two out. I am done tonight. Going to lose a doubleheader to a Cubs team that just isn’t very good.
Going to jump in the tub, grab a bite, watch some of the Mets/Dodgers game, have a cigar, and watch Emergency.

Wow! Sosa misses third base and cannot score the go ahead run. How does that happen at the major league level! Ugh!
I can’t believe what I just saw. Has to stop after rounding third and go back to touch the bag. So its tied still going to the bottom of the 9th.
If we lose this game I would be putting Sosa on the next bus to Memphis. That was ridiculous. I would rather have DeJong than that.
Well, in the top of the tenth the Cubbies pen could not hold down the Redbirds! Cards lead 7-3 with the Cubs coming to bat in the bottom of the inning.
Now Nootbaar goes back on a drive over his head and ended up looking back over his right shoulder and the ball went over his left so he couldn’t make the play. I was a tough play, but he should have made it. 7-4 now, and that’s the final.
