Also BSSO and BSSW+Let’s hope Libratore looks better than last time.
As of this morning we are 3.5 games behind Milwaukee and 0.5 ahead of the Giants in the second WC slot.
Interesting spot for Liberatore’s second start.
It’s an especially meaningful game for this early in the season.
Sink or swim time for him I guess.

Me and Whitey Herdog will be tuning for this one. Din-din will occur at about the time of the 1st pitch. And din-din will be a Ribeye steak in the air fryer, some jumbo crinkle cut french fries, a Mt. Dew, and a piece of Cookies n’Cream pie. Then a 7×50 Palma Real cigar.

I am glad to see Donovan play everyday.
When O’Neill and Carlson return I think Noot should go back to Memphis and Dickerson should be DFA’d.
Wow! Tuned in just in time to see Gorman (What’s he doing hitting in the no. 2 slot?) mash that 450-footer into the seats (Oh, that’s what.) Great way to start the day.
All of which followed pork chops, mashed potatoes, corn and cornbread. After a couple of innings I’ll wander out to the kitchen and make myself a chocolate sundae.
Part of the reason the offense has looked like it’s struggling is that Arenado has not been good since about the first couple weeks of the season. He’s hitting under .200 this month. Really need him to pick it up.
That said, this is a nice outburst today. Hopefully they can pile it on these Brewers.
Gorman is only 3-for-3 with a double, homer and 4 RBI through four innings. Glad he didn’t get the memo that Milwaukee is a winning team and Houser a good starter.
Just tuned in to the game and saw the score. A good day for the Cards. Also heard McLaughlin say Gorman is a triple shy of the cycle. A while back I recall we had a poster named atripleshyofthecycle, or something close to that. Maybe that was Gorman?
We know when Goldy is hot, he is spectacular but when he cools off, he can go days without doing anything. Good he is hot now. Maybe he and Arenado can alternate.
