Alright a day game today. Gotta forget the sleeper last night and move on. Thursday night got my hopes up but thats baseball I guess. Goldys first dinger last night. Had a nice chance of getting back in it last night after starters left but didn’t get the hit. Anyway I like day games on Sat. Reminds me of going to the ball park. Go Cardinals!

I’m with you Wooster – nothing like a Saturday afternoon baseball game. Sitting in the sun, maybe shelling some peanuts, a cold beer, certainly a dog or two. Forget about earthquakes and anemic bats. Got an email this morning from one of my sisters who lives in Fenton, Mo., 2 1/2 miles from the epicenter, and she was more excited about Yadi’s steal the day before. Rah Cardinals.

Well, I’m off to the kitchen to start making tonight’s pizza. I think I’ll do a sausage with green peppers and mushrooms, then unwrap a double chocolate Magnum bar to watch first pitch.

Assume this is Avocado serving his suspension? Is it still two games, or down to one?

Din-din today will be a New York Strip steak in the air fryer, some beef and noodles I got from the Amish restaurant (in a bag and can, not already prepared), a Mt. Dew, and some chocolate ice cream for dessert. All about the time of first pitch. Then, along with Whitey Herdog, a cigar or two as the game progresses.

Arenado serving his suspension this weekend?
And that’s an ugly lineup with Molina that high, Carlson struggling, O’Niell proving the regression is real

Meterologically speaking, on the Doppler Radar website it says severe weather will threaten from St. Louis to Chicago today. And the radar shows some green stuff – not much – forming near the St. Louis area around 1:00 St. Louis time.

    Stay tuned for further developments……..

It would be a shame to sit Arenado and NOT have it count toward his suspension.

Twitter is saying Arenado’s suspension has indeed been reduced to one game which he is serving today.

Din-din will be fried chicken in yellow rice with cream of chicken soup sauce. Brocolli in butter will be our veggie. Got some real good beef hot dogs and buns but I gotta sneak in some sauerkraut because my wife says it messes me up.Too bad Nado’s in umpire jail today. Looks like Alonso doesn’t want to hurt old man Stubby Clap. Thats who took him down. Good a good laugh outta that one. Go Mikolas lets see another good one!

6 of the 9 hitters for the Cardinals in the lineup today have batting averages in the .100s.

Same as last year. It took an historic winning streak to dig out of the hole.

Jeez! Everything was going fine at the top of the 7th when my daughter called. When I come back, we’re behind 2-0.

The offense is inept and anemic. It’s not unexpected…two of the best five current hitters in the system are in Memphis while we try out the veteran committee to save a few bucks 6 years down the road. With us being in the dead ball era again, it’s going to be tough sledding for us to score enough runs, particularly at home. Mikolas has to be pretty disappointed with his support today as he was excellent until the 8th.

CIF I lost my stream at the same time. Must be a plot. 2 runs behind by the time I found something else. Maybe a blessing huh?

It’s time to move O’Neill out if the 3 hole. Get Goldy in there!

Then again I don’t think it helps when you only get 2 hits.

The games you blow early in the week can have a hangover. The fanbase will be at defcon 2 if the D’Bags win tomorrow. lol

I don’t think they’re manipulating service time STL.

A wise man once told me: “Son,” he said, “you can’t win ball games if you only get two damn hits.”

If they had yanked Micolas after the first dinger, they could have played little ball with goldy reaching base leadoff in the 9th, oh well.

I hope young Oli gives them a bit of a tongue lashing. Beautiful April 30th Saturday in front of a big home crowd against a weak team, and they perform like that. Lethargic.
