The Cardinals have no minor league Gold Glove Award winners. KC and Atlanta lead with two each.

I’d take Dylan Carlson in a blink of an eye over Aroz. Randy will be 27 when Spring training opens next year, while Carlson will be just 23. Mark my words…..have I ever misled you in the past……Carlson will put up big numbers next year…. very big.

Kevin Cash of the Rays and Gabe Kapler of the Giants win MOY awards.

Shildt came in a very distant third, but hey, he was a “finalist”, for all that is worth.

Stacy was an outlier times two:

The only voter to put Shildt #1
    AND
The only one to not cast a vote for Kapler

The crazy thing about the voting is that Julio Urias went 20-3 with a 2.96 ERA and finished with 3 5th place votes. The game has certainly changed.

Yep, the baseball card numbers put up by Urias remind me of the numbers put up by Ron Guidry in 1978 but the award voters have changed the criteria based on analytics.

I’m surprised that Nolan Arenado was completely shut out. Not even one 10th place
    vote?

Goldy came in 6th in the NL MVP vote. O’Neill was 8th.
