Yes indeed, but they need more of it. I think deep down even you agree with that comment.

Always been a great fan of Yadi. And that’s the major reason why I want him to be set free. If Buster’s injury would have been season ending, right here in Frisco would have been a great place for Yadi to land. If the Cards are smart, they’ll deal him by the deadline and hand the receiving reigns over to Knizner for the remainder of the games.

Its still crickets in here. Because of his salary, if he doesn’t hit like 2018 Hes a bum.

My expectations are, be a good bench player, 2018 is over.

Carpenter doesn’t get any credit when he has sucked for basically three years now. It isn’t like he’s an up and coming player. It’s great when he gets the hits, but he’s paid very well to hit. Like I say this whole team hasn’t been hitting for a while now. Sure someone may have a good game here or there but it’s not consistent. At least our pitching has mostly stabilized.

If Yadi had the last three years that Carp has had it would be understandable

Just too much offense for these Giants to contend with. 5-1 Good Guys as we venture to the bottom of the 9th.

Hopefully they didn’t score all of their runs today. Good win to start the series. Kim keeps this up he will be valuable to a contender in a few weeks. That’s a good thing.

Yep, Giants didn’t quite know what hit them. Sort of like deer vs automobiles. Deer aren’t used to having anything faster than themselves in their vicinity. So they totally panic and do stupid things when near a motoring vehicle. I don’t believe this 2021 Giants squad has seen anything quite like this Cardinal offense…..and it left them dazed and confused. I can’t wait until tomorrow’s game because we’ll kick them in the keester again. Go Birds!

The box score was a nice surprise when I got home. It seems right that a maligned player not hitting his weight broke it open with a booming triple off the center field wall. I couldn’t be happier for Carp but I hope it doesn’t go to Shildt’s head.

But you know it will, lol.

I’ll never root for the Cards to lose but it is going to be a long summer…..

I guess the Giants figured they could beat us with their B team. I didn’t recongnize many in their starting lineup. No Yaz, no Posey, no Belt, no Longoria. I guess they have some injuries of their own. Maybe we can get lucky again tonight.

Great outing by Kim. Like mentioned above maybe it will increase his trade value.

Why trade the best starting LH pitcher on your staff? In 2019 in Korea, he started 30 games and pitched 190+ innings.

Because this team is going nowhere, he is out of contract, and do you believe he is worthy of a contract extension? I wouldn’t give him one unless it was extremely team friendly. I am tired of doling out contracts to players his age. That is one of the reasons we are in this mess. This team needs to get a lot younger.
