LeBlanc is 36, yeah, but Morton is 37 and just looked like he would no hit us.
My brother who has lived in California for decades says LeBlanc wasn’t a bad hitting pitcher years ago. I wish him well, but when you add that signing to all the Indy guys its as if we had a plane go down in a horrible tragedy are scrambling to field teams at every level. Can anyone explain what on earth happened to the pipeline?

His stats don’t warrant being cut loose by all those organizations so clearly it’s his age and making room for the younger players.
He’s not great by any stretch but he’s not bad either.

In case anyone was wanting a distressing observation, Carp’s OBP is the same as Goldy’s.
But Goldy is better in Avg., HR, RBI, BB’s, SLG, OPS, and much better at defense.

Seems like a lot of double counting there. For instance, avg and BB’s (along with HBP) combine to make up OBP.
OBP + SLG combine to make up OPS.
Saying he has more HR”s and BB’s? Yeah, he also has twice as many ABs.
RBI’s are determined by who is on in front of you.
This year, he is really just better than Carp in slugging and defense.

In fact Carp has a better OBP than Edman, Arenado, Molina, DeJong, Bader, Knizner, and Thomas. Why single out Goldy?
