    The NL Central is a bad division. The four playoff teams last year managed 1 win between them.

    Any of the Cubs, Cards, or Brewers could win the division but will not be a viable threat to advance in the playoffs – sure, anything can happen in a playoff series but you take my meaning.

    This season is what it is. 2022 should be, at least on paper, much better. Of course, I am counting on a couple of good off season moves from the front office…..

    This season could still be fine. If we get some pitchers healthy, PDJ comes back strong, TO continues to develop, etc., we could be a force in October.

    You forgot some ifs cranny. Get a bench bat and more useful reserves. More consistent infield defense. Fewer base running blunders.
