Dylan needs to make something happen here. They have missed some plays and the Redbirds need to make them pay.

The chance to make it a game goes out the window with middle of order once again. With how I’m feeling wind the Carlson ball was a grand slam without it

Half a paycheck and a quarter of a toe for a beer

We had chances to tie up then Aubrey hit it to Indiana

Think we know what we’ve got. A team that takes care of bad teams but can’t compete with good ones

This does not look like a better than 500 team. I don’t know how you get as many pen arms as this team needs. And not like rest of team is good enough to pursue that

Fernandez looked very good tonight. One of few positives, but his velocity seemed back, and his control was good. And again I cannot see how Webb is still on the team.

I’m very very disappointed with this unit. Quite frankly, they should be ashamed of themselves.

We will play bad teams often enough to be “competitive”.

Its been so long since I’ve been to Comiskey beer was probably about $2.50. That was the old park, not the current one. I did get soaked good at Wrigley some years back. Before they moved the Harry Caray statue whenever that was.

Injuries do not help, but they are part of the game. When healthy this team is two good bats shy of having a good offense. When not healthy, they will struggle to score runs. The bench is weak when heathy … really bad when the team is dealing with injuries.

A Cub fan here, we have a weak division, I don’t see the winner taking on the elites and winning.

White Sox are good, I hate to say. Imagine if they had Jimenez healthy this year.

Paul, you are correct. The NLC is weak. I have been saying all along that the Cards, Cubs, Brewers, and maybe the Reds will be fighting to get to 85 wins because 85 might just win this division. Then whoever wins it will get thumped by the Dodgers or Padres in the playoffs.

The Cardinals have about 10 guys on their 40 man roster who would probably pass through waivers. That’s not good.

The organizational depth leaves a lot to be desired. Unless we are at full health, we have a dropoff to someone that is well below league average

Was great to see carp hit the ball hard last night (and seeing it in person, he certainly hit those two pretty hard)

I need to see a Cards win so I’m heading back down for the day game today

    Bring home a winner, GACard!
