    I wonder what’s up with Elledge. He and Whitley both came from the alt site and Whitley works back to back games while Elledge waits for his season debut in a 12-5 game. Doesn’t follow Shildts usage script which is predictable.

    I suspect Shildt wanted to give Whitley a chance to redeem himself after the rough outing yesterday. Good psychology. Now Whitley, after a strong performance today may be back on track. Will need him with all the pitchers on the IL. Won’t miss Miller but fear that Hicks will be joining him after today.
