BSM PLUS // KMOXMay 1, 2021 at 10:02 am #159805It’s not letting me post again. Is this a Saturday thing or what?
May 1, 2021 at 10:17 am #159807I’ve had trouble with long posts before, that need to be broken into two pieces.
May 1, 2021 at 1:40 pm #1598211. Tommy Edman (S) 2B
2. Dylan Carlson (S) RF
3. Paul Goldschmidt (R) 1B
4. Nolan Arenado (R) 3B
5. Paul DeJong (R) SS
6. Tyler O’Neill (R) LF
7. Andrew Knizner (R) C
8. Harrison Bader (R) CF
9. Jack Flaherty (R) PMay 1, 2021 at 1:49 pm #159822So it looks like Carpenter will have a chance for a pinch-hit three run homer for the 3rd day in a row. I believe the MLB Network said that yesterday was the first time in MLB history that a player hit pinch-hit three run homers in two straight games.

May 1, 2021 at 5:14 pm #159833I’m happy to see Bader back in the 8 hole.

jj-cf-stlParticipantFlaherty’s run support continues, outstanding.
May 1, 2021 at 6:21 pm #159836How could the runner on 3nd not advance on that sac fly?
May 1, 2021 at 6:29 pm #159837
jj-cf-stlParticipantFrom a play log I’m showing Moran scored on a Kai Tom sac fly
May 1, 2021 at 6:39 pm #159838
jj-cf-stlParticipantgot the run back
May 1, 2021 at 6:41 pm #159839From a play log I’m showing Moran scored on a Kai Tom sac
Sorry I meant the runner on 2nd. That ball was always going to be caught by O’Neill, and was thrown on the fly all the way to the plate.
May 1, 2021 at 6:58 pm #159840
jj-cf-stlParticipantLooks like Flaherty will need all the run support he can get.
May 1, 2021 at 7:00 pm #159841On the fly, one hopper or worm burner doesn’t matter, he was just as safe.
May 1, 2021 at 7:02 pm #159842
jj-cf-stlParticipantSee if you can catch a pitch count for flaherty, Bling
May 1, 2021 at 7:05 pm #159843
jj-cf-stlParticipantA couple more runs to get back
May 1, 2021 at 8:25 pm #1598443 hours and we are not out of the 7th.
May 1, 2021 at 8:27 pm #159845
jj-cf-stlParticipant12 runs scored takes a while, eh? Bucs just won’t quit.
May 1, 2021 at 8:27 pm #159846Flaherty 104 pitches, 65 strikes. (better late than never)
May 1, 2021 at 8:30 pm #159847
jj-cf-stlParticipantcool 😉
May 1, 2021 at 8:39 pm #159848
jj-cf-stlParticipantPIT is 5 for 9 on grounders and have a .429 BAbip through 7 innings
May 1, 2021 at 8:41 pm #159849
jj-cf-stlParticipantwth Carp, a PH ground out!?!
May 1, 2021 at 8:45 pm #159850Are we getting the same strike zone? Seems like our pitchers are getting squeezed more.
May 1, 2021 at 8:46 pm #159851Its hard to ground one through all those fielders. Like throwing a bowling ball down the middle hoping not to hit any pins.
May 1, 2021 at 9:05 pm #159852Sounds like the Pirates left fielder really stinks.
May 1, 2021 at 9:10 pm #159853
stlcard25ParticipantI just had a chance to tune in on the radio and the Cards have scored 5 runs since I started listening. I’ll take it. Haha. 12-5 Cards.
