So it looks like Carpenter will have a chance for a pinch-hit three run homer for the 3rd day in a row. I believe the MLB Network said that yesterday was the first time in MLB history that a player hit pinch-hit three run homers in two straight games.

Sorry I meant the runner on 2nd. That ball was always going to be caught by O’Neill, and was thrown on the fly all the way to the plate.
Looks like Flaherty will need all the run support he can get.
On the fly, one hopper or worm burner doesn’t matter, he was just as safe.

Its hard to ground one through all those fielders. Like throwing a bowling ball down the middle hoping not to hit any pins.
Sounds like the Pirates left fielder really stinks.
I just had a chance to tune in on the radio and the Cards have scored 5 runs since I started listening. I’ll take it. Haha. 12-5 Cards.
