The 1B ump who took the throw to the head might not be seeing very well. Haven’t seen one missed that badly when he called O’Neill out on the grounder.

I love jimmi ball game. The only guys keeping warm are these three guys here, pitcher, catcher, and batter in shot,. Everyone else is just standing in the rain.
Really with the hitters they had coming up, this really was the inning for your best relief pitcher and Reyes hasn’t been that.
Glad I had my seat belt fastened for that roller coaster ride! Reyes ends up striking out the side after allowing the first two runners on base. Mets still scoreless through eight.
What pitcher will Shildt trot out there to start the bottom of the ninth?

Lindor luck he didn’t catch O’Neill foul in the face with how it seemed to graze the screen/netting. I assume if the ball touches the netting even slightly before reaching the glove, it’s out of play?
