Goldy swings at ball one and two and misses. Then Ks. Bad at bat for Goldy.

Now a slow dribbler and the catcher is off the plate. 3-2 Cards.

Bader scores on a fielders choice. Speed wins there.

Ravelo with the single. 4-2 Cards. How about an O’Neill bomb?

A dribbler and there’s a force out at home. Still, Carp’s one prime spot is with the bases juiced. He’s up again in that spot.

Cards bat around and take the lead. It would be nice to see Caro get another hit. The Cards need him to get on track.

Walk to Carp … Twins pitchers helping the Cards.

Thielbar is throwing pitches in the middle of the plate. Wieters finally hits one that’s not fouled back…just foul. Not sure any other Cardinal would be missing this many easy pitches.

The amount of times these guys are having to run the bases has to be tiring. Wieters flies out on pitch 19. All in all, despite Danny and Brad hailing it, that was a waste of an at bat.

Cabrera with a nice inning. He did walk a guy, but got out of it without any tallies.

Looks like we got mediocre Gant tonight. Walk and a hit. Hopefully he can keep it to 1 run.

the three run lead vs these twins feels like a one run lead

O’Neill Ks on a pitch about 4 inches outside. What a junk call.

Andrew Miller is in. Hopefully we get good Miller here.

Bull is managing this one like its Game 7 of the World Series. We’re down to our last closer, Gallegos, and we’re not yet to the last inning.

Gallegos finishes off Astudillo, who’s a tough out, with a K. It remains 5-3. Would be nice to get a few insurance runs.

Gallegos comes through! One more inning, let’s do this.

He still has Reyes on a days rest, who pitched like a closer his last outing. Doubt he needs him.

Wong puts it in play to bring in the insurance run!

Nice insurance run by Edman, driven in by Wong. Now for Gallegos to finish the last inning.

Good point jj. I forgot about Reyes. I, too, hope we don’t need him tonight.
