What a weird turn of events. The ball took about the lightest of hops off the wall as you can get and the LF was playing it for a big hop and DeJong scores from 1st and Wong gets a triple.
July 6, 2018 at 11:05 pm #59425I thought that earlier comment about Wong might be just the karma he needed….Wong triples in DeJong from 1st and we have ourselves a tie ballgame!
July 6, 2018 at 11:07 pm #59426Sweet place to work, Booyah! I bet you sure have some stories.
July 6, 2018 at 11:11 pm #59428Just an fyi but Wong is over .200 now lol
July 6, 2018 at 11:15 pm #59430It’s always nice to be looking down instead of up at Mr. Mendoza….congrats to Wong!
July 6, 2018 at 11:18 pm #59431Yeah quite a few outside and a few inside. It’s the hotel business man. It’s a crazy occupation. You stay around long enough “and you do have people like me who’ve been in it a long time” and you’ve seen and heard everything. Just today one of the valets damaged 2 cars when he he was moving one. We’re creating memories folks! I just hope it was someone from Arizona.
This is not looking good!3-2
Let’s hope that we can get out of it with just 1 run.
July 6, 2018 at 11:18 pm #59432Now we’re looking up at the Giants as NcCutchen drives in Pence with a base rap….3-2 Giants and they’re looking for more.
July 6, 2018 at 11:25 pm #59433I hear you, Booyah. I worked at this fancy smancy resort in Lake Geneva for my father one summer when I was 18….as a security officer. I sure as heck didn’t secure much other than a phone number or two from other young female hotel employees. I had access to the rooms of course since I was in such a position of authority….not proud of this, but I bet I spent a good 5 hours of each shift in an unoccupied room watching tv.
July 6, 2018 at 11:30 pm #59434We only have one more shot at these guys. Would be a crying shame to lose this one. 3-2 Giants heading to the bottom of the 8th.
July 6, 2018 at 11:36 pm #59435Wasn’t Sandoval the guy who killed us in the NLCS years ago? Big Poppy too….if I knew where those two lived I would have egged and tp’d their cribs at least a few times over the years for what they did to us.
July 6, 2018 at 11:39 pm #59436And Carpenter digs a throw out of the dirt to end the Giant 8th….and there’s another play that Jose doesn’t handle. If my calculations are correct, if Jose would have been at 1st tonight instead of Carpenter, we’d be losing 7-4 instead of 3-2 ( Jose would have drilled a 2 run dinger ).
July 6, 2018 at 11:40 pm #59437I’d rather have Marcel marceau than Ozuna up now
July 6, 2018 at 11:42 pm #59438Cardinals offense will be lucky that Shark is coming off the DL. That will be their 2nd win and split in the series.
What a weak 3rd strike call!
July 6, 2018 at 11:43 pm #59439We came up short, but you have to tip your cap to the real star of this game…….C.B. Buckner for calling one whale of a ballgame! 3-2 Giants your unhappy final from beautiful San Francisco.
July 6, 2018 at 11:46 pm #59440Bummer of a loss. Had a great shot at that win. Just have to tip your cap sometimes. They played just a little bit better.
Giving up 3 runs and a loss shouldn’t be on the pitchers.
Just couldn’t get the offense going again. Never seen pitcher strikes again.
Nice to see DeJong back. A little worried about Yadis arm.
Man Crawford is a human vacuum cleaner though. Glad he found his bat after struggling early in his a career.
Two more to go in the series and plenty of opportunity.
Get em tomorrow boys!
Go Cards!
July 7, 2018 at 9:29 am #59464Gant manged to struggle through a Quality start FWIW.I think thats 2 of his last 3 starts he pitched okay…a little offense would have helped…but like everyone says The others guys wjere just a little better today. So glad DeJong is back.
