With a 6 run lead and one out, I did not see the point in taking him out either. But we all have commented on Matheny’s bullpen usage, and his micro-management style. Fortunately Norris got the game-ending DP.
Great start by Martinez. Nice to see him bounce back with a true gem, after the clunker on opening day.
