Tommy Pham in his last 10 games is 7 for 45 with 20 strikeouts and 5 walks. Need him to break out of the funk.
Sure is a lot of activity on the game thread today. I assume everybody is either out mowing, trimming, weedeating like I am or else they are watching Barnaby Jones. Time to let Whitey Herdog outside for awhile and then water my new flowers in my landscaping.

Got caught up in conference calls and endless meeting after meeting. Wanted to punch my own head at times.
Back on topic, Tommy probably could have used another day off. He’s struggling out there.
So I’m not able to watch the game live. I’m watching mlb gamecast and the pitch Pena made contact with for the out was way off the pate according to gamecast. Was his at bat that awful?
Norris appears to be done after allowing back to back singles to start the 10th. And then his error to load the bases. Matheny gonna lose this game.
We also couldn’t manage to score against a reliever who has surrendered 27 runs in 17 innings (until now), which is rather disappointing.
The kill shot administered by the .164 hitter, and we have ourselves a series loss to one of the worst teams in baseball, at home, courtesy of the putrid offense and awful bullpen.
Well, when your first reliever only throws 4 pitches, maybe he can go an extra inning.
When your second reliever only throws 7 pitches, maybe he can go an extra inning.
But Norris clearly didn’t have it in his second inning…
