ParticipantThe error adds 1 run to what should have a solo shot. Still 7-2 Cards
September 23, 2018 at 3:21 pm #70416Finally hitting like they mean it. Plus Mikolas’ strong performance means possible sweep today. Good confidence builder going into tomorrow’s series w/Brewers. Just Need Jack to pitch well. I do wish we had Wong back, Munoz makes me very nervous at second.
Miles gives two back, need to put these guys out now.

stlcard25ParticipantMuñoz error followed directly by the homer and both runs are earned? Not sure I get that.
September 23, 2018 at 3:22 pm #70418So you’re saying Crawford wouldn’t of gone yard?
September 23, 2018 at 3:25 pm #70420NJ315
ParticipantThe homer is earned the other one isn’t.

stlcard25ParticipantThey edited the box score on the at bat app after the inning, so it’s now fixed.
September 23, 2018 at 3:31 pm #70423Yep. The runner on base due to error is not earned.
Munoz makes errors regardless of position.
September 23, 2018 at 3:34 pm #70424
stlcard25ParticipantYes, that’s how I understood it. Which is why it seemed weird that it said 2 ER for him at that time. Oh well, no harm so long as the Cards win it.
September 23, 2018 at 3:41 pm #70425Why burn Brebbia when there is no need? Perfect opportunity for Gallegos. How long since Ponce has pitched?
September 23, 2018 at 3:58 pm #70426
stlcard25ParticipantReally need to get Carpenter rolling before the playoffs. I can’t imagine a run without him being an integral part of the offense.
September 23, 2018 at 3:58 pm #70427Carp 2 run shot!
He has hit the ball hard today. Good for him!
September 23, 2018 at 4:00 pm #70428Christ DeJong!
September 23, 2018 at 4:04 pm #70429We aren’t going anywhere in the playoffs with the Way Ozuna and DeJong are hacking away in the 3-4 spot today.
September 23, 2018 at 4:18 pm #70430
stlcard25ParticipantGood to win!
September 23, 2018 at 4:31 pm #70431Looks like Gallegos might be what we got for Voit. Schreve looks a lot like Cecil.
September 23, 2018 at 6:01 pm #70440Yep, more than a few Yankee fans were glad the Cardinals took Shreve off their hands, although he was trending a little better when the trade was made.
September 23, 2018 at 11:49 pm #70449Cecil 6.25 ERA and Shreve 2.77 since joining the Cardinals. How similar is that.
I am not a big Shreve fan and I like what I saw of Gallegos while in Memphis but the jury will be out on both for a bit longer.
