After taking Monday off…
7:15 p.m. RHP Jack Flaherty (7-6, 2.97) vs. RHP Ivan Nova (7-8, 4.20) FOX Sports Midwest/KMOX
Six home games this week against two teams under .500. We need to win at least four of these games. We cant have a letdown this week. Then off to Washington for three games with the Hatchets. Those three games don’t quite scare me as much now since Washington has sort of thrown in the towel on the season.
I wonder if Dave Martinez’s job is in jeopardy?

Well, Hicks did throw a strike right down the middle on an 0-2 pitch on the cheap hit to Marte. The way he was going, I had a feeling he would throw a fat one then.
This injury bug is infuriating. Ozuna, Wong, and now Jerko? This doesn’t take into account Wacha probably reinjured something.
I would like to see Munoz get some extended run in the INF if indeed Gyorko has to be shelved. Garcia shouldn’t be playing everyday.
Shildt said mild groin strain. Didn’t say but pretty much said Jedd is going on the DL. Didn’t want to speculate who the move would be.
I mean you could play Carp at 3rd and Adams at 1st. Could play Wisdom at 3rd and Munoz and 2nd. Could play Munoz at 3rd and Garcia at 2nd. Cafe will need to be in the field more instead of off and on they’d like.
