It would be nice to get back to .500 by the time this series ends.

Wacha is better than a 5.59 ERA.

The way Matheny used Mayers the first go-around is maddening, and I don’t see it changing the second time around. Also, I guess I answered my own question regarding Gregerson not being ready as soon as the FO thought he’d be.

Who replaces Mayers in AAA? Could it be Meisner?

We keep putting the same lineup out there and the results have been lackluster.

Eventually Carp and Fowler will be switched in the order. It only makes sense.

Nice to see the Cardinals string together some hits. 2-0 in the first

So the offense is showing signs of life but Wacha is pitching like trash. This team…

Not a good at bat there by Ozuna. Martinez needs to pick him up.

Tied game! Now Molina to take the lead.

At least they got the tie. Would have been good to get more than 1 run in the bases loaded, no out situation though.

DP so 4-4 The team has a better record after 12 games that in 2017 (3-9). Something positive.

Bader hit by pitch and singles by Fowler and Pham load the bases with 1 out.

I love how Carp said he’s not a .240 hitter and would change his approach. I guess he meant .240 was too high for him as he still has twice as many K’s as Hits.

Ozuna has now left 8 man on base.

So many opportunities not converted. Lead should be greater. Not any margin for the pen with 12 outs to go.

I guess Matheny broke the glass on Brebbia. His first appearance in 4 games.

    Brebbia looked dominating.

Don’t get me wrong, seeing this team have all of these bases loaded opportunities and fail really irks me. I will take these home runs 🙂

Back-to-Back solo shots from JMart and Molina. Redszone is burning down.

Not the kind of debut Zack Weiss was hoping to make for the Reds. Feel kind of bad for the kid. 15 pitches and only 3 were strikes, 2 of which were home runs.

Bases loaded again and no outs. If we fail again….
