stlcard25ParticipantThe last two games of the series are big for momentum. With the Brewers coming to town this weekend, it’s important to keep the possibility to leap into 2nd place available.
Let’s get a nice start from Gomber, smack a few dingers and seal a series win tonight!!
August 15, 2018 at 12:12 pm #65546Looks like there is rain in the St. Louis area. Any chance this one gets postponed? Hope not since we are on a roll?
Pugs, you got that reading on the barometric pressure for me?

August 15, 2018 at 2:41 pm #65554This scares me to death.
August 15, 2018 at 2:56 pm #65556It will only scare me if he comes into a game. Unless we are ahead 6-7 runs then its a good chance we can survive him.
August 15, 2018 at 3:12 pm #65562I guess we have to hold our breath for 17 more days until rosters expand and we don’t have to worry about using him. It is a shame that Shildt has to play with a 24 man roster for 2 1/2 weeks.
August 15, 2018 at 3:16 pm #65564Today's #STLCards lineup (8/15)
Carpenter 1B
Molina C
J. Martínez RF
Ozuna LF
DeJong SS
Gyorko 3B
Wong 2B
Bader CF

August 15, 2018 at 3:21 pm #65568O’Neill sitting?Crazy!!!!.He has been 7 for 11 since his recall before the DL.
August 15, 2018 at 3:29 pm #65572I’m wouldn’t be messing with the lineup in the middle of a winning streak either.
August 15, 2018 at 4:47 pm #65590I’m thinking our lineup next year will typically go like this:
Carpenter 1B
Molina C
Machado SS
Ozuna LF
DeJong 3B
O’Neill RF
Bader CF
Wong 2BAugust 15, 2018 at 4:57 pm #65592Machado at 3B and I’m all in. At SS, no thank you.
I’ll take Dozier at 3rd (at less than half the AAV and half the # of years over Machado at SS.
Or sign Escobar or Inglesias for short.

jj-cf-stlParticipantPiggyback Ponce is on 4 days rest. Ross 2 days, Norris 1 day, and Cecil needs a seat cushion.
Sit down, shut up and pretend you are furniture.August 15, 2018 at 7:50 pm #65599Ozuna with a solo shot to lead off the second. 1-0 Cards
August 15, 2018 at 8:10 pm #65601Bader is such a STUD in CF dang what a catch!

August 15, 2018 at 8:31 pm #65603
stlcard25ParticipantBases juiced and two out. Kolten can break it open here…
August 15, 2018 at 8:35 pm #65604Dominic Leone seems to be on track to join the team soon…possibly tomorrow. He just gave up a grandslam and has a sparkling 7.71 ERA for the Redbirds.
August 15, 2018 at 8:47 pm #65605Leone had been pitching pretty well until tonight. His ERA coming into the game was 3.00 and his opponent batting average was just .217.
