Looks like the low prospect ranked one position pony has 4 RBIs tonight to help the Cards get off to a good start on this road trip.
Maybe the Cards knew something when they moved Carp to 3B to make room for him.He hits a slow roller to SS that the Brewers can’t turn a DP on combined with a gutsy play by Fowler to score from second. That doesn’t sound like a great hitting skill to get 2 RBIs. He came into the game hitting .227 with RISP.
He MIGHT turn out to be a good hitter for a few years but it is far from a given.
Good for him, though.
