I didnt have a problem with Hicks starting the 10th since he’s not thrown much lately. But Hicks should have been removed after he gave up the single and then the walk. Especially with Martinez ready.
I must point out that so far this year the Homeplate umpiring (balls & strikes) has been really bad.
