One of those clunkers you see a few times every year. The key after games like this is to come out and win the next day. That puts the bad game in perspective, as an aberration that happens when you play 162.
This could be one of those series where the team that takes 2 of 3 is outscored. Sort of a mini-1960 World Series if you will. Although in that series, the Yankees were clearly the better team. I think the Cards are better than Cincinnati, although I also believe the Reds are a better ball club this year than in recent seasons, and may end up with a +.500 record when all is said and done.
