I don’t think Flaherty or Hicks actually really thought the Cardinals would do anything more than what they did. It was a silly symbolic protest. As Brian stated the rules will be changed in due time. I am in favor of players being paid earlier since the teams will not pay older players anymore, but after ONE YEAR of service time?? Those two should focus on playing a little longer and talking a little less.
