If Fowler is the last one in the clubhouse before a game, and the first one to leave after a game, and if he refuses to take extra batting practice, while continuing poor play at the plate and in the field, then he is in violation of the spirit of his Contract. The Cardinals should file a lawsuit to have his contract declared null and void. That’s what should be done with Fowler, IMO.
