I don’t see any reason to be in a negative camp or positive camp. I try to stay in a realistic camp. The reality is as of this moment we are a sub .500 team but we have also been red hot the last two weeks. Overall it hasn’t been a good season yet but we are trending in the right direction. Both things can be true.
I have no hesitation of trashing our front office because for the most part they deserve it but I will also give them credit when they do something good. What Mo did well over the winter was bringing in the three veteran starters. They aren’t great pitchers but they do give us a chance to win which is more than we had last year. Last year we were routinley down 6-0 after three innings and the game was over. That is not the case this year and now that the bats are coming out of their slumber we are starting to look like an actual big league team. Pitching, defense, and timely hitting can carry you a long way.
