The baseball draft seems to be way more of a crap shoot than the NFL draft. The only picks really worth anything for sure (in my opinion) are top 10 1st rounders kinda like the NBA (which only has 2 rounds now).
After that it’s pretty hard to tell if and when a guy will ever pan out.
Maybe baseball could allow only 2nd round or later picks to be traded and still feel that it is protecting ownership from themselves…
