I’d rather see Saggese play every day with Memphis than sit on St. Louis’ bench as the third string second baseman and occasional pinch hitter. As long as Gorman and Donovan are healthy, it doesn’t matter how well Saggese might be hitting at Memphis. He is blocked. But depth is always good to have available.
